The mother cat desperately brought her sick kittens to the animal rescuers: touching video of plea for help

The cat not only knew that there was a big problem with the kittens, but also knew who to turn to for help.

When the staff at the Animals Cottage Rescue Center in Pakistan noticed that a stray mother cat brought a kitten to them, they immediately knew something was wrong. They rushed the kitten to the vet, but the story didn't end there. The momma cat brought three more kittens to her rescuers. Two of them were healthy, but the third was also sick and needed treatment.

The little ones were on the brink of dehydration and in a hypoglycemic state. Meaning its blood sugar levels were so low that it was life-threatening. Thanks to the mother cat's good decision and the quick reaction of the animal rescuers, the two kittens were saved.

Currently, the organization is taking care of the cat family. Once the kittens are old enough, they will be available for adoption, and the mother will also be looking for a home after being neutered.

Stray cats worldwide are in a very difficult situation, and the population growth is also contributed by non-neutered outdoor cats. Experts suggest that serious regulations towards owners are needed, as well as more support for animal welfare organizations to neuter stray colonies.
