They didn't want to leave it at that, so they did everything they could to uncover what lay behind the peculiar shade. They succeeded, discovering that the cat snoozes daily in a nearby garage covered in green paint dust. They attempted to catch the stray to ensure its health, but their efforts were unsuccessful. It seems that neither the cat nor its companions are bothered by the unusual color; although, as a kind reader pointed out, this is likely not beneficial to its health.
